One of the few positives to come out of the coronavirus pandemic is a heightened awareness of mental health in the workplace, founder of People Reaching Out to People Rob Prugue tells ausbiz. Rob says proof mental health is an issue is evidenced in the 25 percent rise in calls to Lifeline in Sydney alone. He's urging people to try to connect with friends and colleagues who could be suffering with mental health issues, and explains why people in the finance industry may be particularly vulnerable. Rob's charity People Reaching Out to People has released a series of educational videos on how to take the steps to connect, and he shares his personal insights from the front-lines, telling us how to begin to connect.
